Small Update
Here's the new update. Couple things fixed that could break the game, Kimberly's skills returned, and a few small grammar errors squashed. That's what I get for rushing to get a release out before I completely test it all the way.

Fixed, so I think...
Okay, so after a run through, I think I've found all the issues that were brought up in the latest release. Odd side note, my game bugged out and I couldn't use the cancel/menu button, even after resting the default commands. Only after beating my keyboard senseless did it finally work again >.< really weird. Any case, I should have an updated link tomorrow. And wow, is Kimberly useless in this without her sword skills XD
I screwed up!
So, I just found out that after a few edits, I completely removed ALL of Kimberly's skills. Luckily I had a back-up of the game on a flash drive and was able to place them back. There's also an issue where if you talk to the girl by the came in Illian the game will freeze because she's trying to move to the side, but can't because you are in the way, and you can't move until the event finishes, so, yeah. Until I update the build, talk to her from the front. I'll have her move to the left instead. Changed the map a bit to keep you from blocking her. I should have the updated build by tomorrow night.

Release 1-17-13
Wow, it's been a long time since I've released something. I think this
is the start of a more frequent posting though. I've learned alot over
the past few weeks just by toying around with the program on how to
effectively make cut scenes. I can now move multiple characters at once.
I also added in a new intro scene for flavor. This marks the start of
the branching Good/Evil paths. This will double my work load, but also
help keep things fresh for me, not always working on the same thing all
the time. Enjoy everyone. I didn't get to the bad ends, but I think this
makes up for it.

A Sudden Spark of Inspiration
So, I've decided to go into an interesting route with this game. I am
currently working on a branching story at this point. There is a
decision to be made that will allow for a good path or an evil path. So
far, I have shown that Kimberly is a kind and loving person, but she
also carries in her heart a deep anger that can get the better of her. I
don't want to give anything away, but a major decision in how the game
pans out from here on in will be included in the next release. This will
help me to regain my interest as the creator as well, as I will be
taking my characters in a new direction.

Not dead, just dazed
So, I know that I haven't really done much in the ways of, well, anything really. I've been transitioning between jobs and it's been a rough couple of months with bills, so my priorities were elsewhere. Thinks are starting to smooth out and I'll have time to get back to work on the game. As it stands now, there will be little in the ways of fleshing out this game, as I am planning to move on to VX Ace once I finish with this story arc. The characters will be the same, just think of this game as the prequel to something bigger in the future. I have always viewed this as a way to introduce the characters and to tell the story of Kimberly and Kitayanna. Arian and Shakira have grown their own special place in my heart as well the more I work with them. Expect to see much more character development in the near future.
